What BUA Cement does

BUA Cement Plc manufactures and distributes cement in Nigeria from production locations in Sokoto State and Edo State. The Sokoto plant runs five production lines with combined capacity of 8.5 million metric tonnes per annum, and the Obu plant in Edo State runs three lines with 9 mmtpa. The company is building a three mmtpa greenfield plant at Ososo in Edo State, expected to begin operations by December 2027, and a brownfield expansion of similar capacity in Sokoto State targeted for December 2028. Net revenue rose 34.6% to N1.2 trillion in 2025, with profit after tax up 381.7% to N356 billion and EBITDA margin expanding to 46.6%.
