Nestlé Nigeria Plc manufactures, markets and distributes food and beverage products across Nigeria, and exports part of its output to other markets within and outside Africa, including Ghana, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and South Africa. The business reports in two segments. Food covers Maggi, Cerelac, SMA, Nan, Lactogen, Golden Morn and its snacking range, generating N784 billion in revenue for FY2025. Beverages covers Milo in its cube, ready-to-drink and three-in-one formats, Nescafe and Nescafe three-in-one, and Nestlé Pure Life purified water, generating N424 billion in revenue for FY2025. The company operates manufacturing facilities at Oregun in Lagos State and Agbara in Ogun State.
Revenue reached N1.21 trillion in 2025, up 26%, with the company returning to a profit of N105.0 billion after a loss of N164.6 billion in 2024. Profit before tax was N166.8 billion, compared to a pre-tax loss of N221.6 billion in the prior year. Gross profit rose 42% to N435.9 billion. Exports rose 55.9%, contributing N10.2 billion to turnover. Net finance costs were cut by 85% due to a relatively stable exchange rate.
The company's net assets turned positive, moving from a deficit of N92.3 billion in 2024 to N12.9 billion in 2025, with total assets of N846.2 billion. Negative retained earnings improved by 53.6% from N243.2 billion to N112.8 billion. The company is likely to resume dividend payments following the return to profitability.
