DAAR Communications Plc is a Nigerian broadcasting company that develops, produces and markets television and radio entertainment and news programming for markets in Africa and the United Kingdom. Established in 1988 and a subsidiary of DAAR Investment Limited, it is headquartered in Abuja. It launched Raypower 100.5 FM in 1994 and African Independent Television in 1996, introducing satellite broadcasting to the Nigerian private media market. Its television portfolio comprises AIT Television, AIT International and AIT Sport, alongside DAARSAT, a pay-TV service on a digital streaming platform.
